Priority Hard Inquiry Removal – Service Disclosure
The Priority Hard Inquiry Removal service is an effort-based service and does not guarantee the removal of any inquiry. Outcomes depend on credit bureau procedures and creditor verification processes that are outside the company’s control.
As part of this service, hard inquiries are evaluated and grouped into the following categories:
Category 1: Inquiries Eligible for Phone-Based Removal
Some inquiries may be eligible for immediate review and removal through direct phone-based disputes with Experian. Eligibility is determined solely by Experian’s internal, real-time validation systems and creditor responses, which are not public and may change without notice.
When eligible, removal attempts are made during the initial service period, typically within the first 24 hours.
Category 2: Inquiries Requiring Written Disputes
Certain inquiries cannot be removed by phone and require written dispute correspondence. This may include inquiries that require documentation, additional verification, or formal investigation.
Written disputes are prepared and mailed to the appropriate credit bureau(s). Credit bureaus generally respond within 30–45 days, though response times may vary.
Category 3: Inquiries Not Eligible for Removal
Some inquiries may not be eligible for removal. This includes, but is not limited to, inquiries tied to open or active accounts, inquiries instantly validated by the bureau, business or fraud-related inquiries, or inquiries verified as accurate and authorized.
These inquiries may remain on the credit report if confirmed as legitimate by the credit bureau or creditor.
